1531.61 Exemptions from permit requirement.Commercial weights or measures instruments or devices are exempt from the requirements of ss. 531.60-531.66 if:
(1) The device is used exclusively for weighing railroad cars and is tested for accuracy and compliance with state standards by a private testing agency.
(2) The device is used exclusively for measuring aviation fuel or petroleum products inspected under chapter 525.
